Not a pro. Small SAB providing firearms training to women. Cannot advertise a physical location. Trying to maximize RM’s Local SEO features. The main Local SEO settings have been set up for some time. Been reading the KB articles about setting up multiple locations. I’m not clear whether using this module would help a SAB without physical locations? We do have a verified GBP with towns/cities listed that pretty much outlines area we want to target for customers (screenshot).
Question: Can RM’s multiple location feature benefit a SAB like us? I could enter the various towns/cities, zip codes, that I used in the GBP. Many of the settings (address, etc.) would obviously be left blank. “Area Served” field looks useful.
Just trying to get some guidance.
Thanks!

  1. Hello, Thank you so much for getting in touch.

The Local SEO module is most useful for businesses that have an actual physical location and the same goes for multiple locations.

However, if you already have a GMB card and have configured your website as a local business you should add as much information as possible in that module to keep all your data accurate.

Additionally, if you are looking to add the areaServed Schema you can refer to this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/add-multiple-areaserved-cities-to-localbusiness-schema/

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
