Hello dear members and developers, Happy New year to you all!

Hello dear members and developers, Happy New year to you all!
I have a question to ask, please,
I redesigned a website for client and the website already has a Google map and local SEO settings. Although the website did not have any SEO plugin installed, when I ran a RankMath it asked me if I wanted to transfer YouthSEO settings.
I’m not quite sure if I should fill up the Local SEO settings in RankMath plugin and Google Maps API also, or should I just leave it as it is as it’s already there?
Will I lose my SEO if I rewrite the settings, information, snippet, Google API key, and geo-coordinates?
Thank you all very much for your comments!

  1. Hello, Thank you so much for getting in touch.

If our plugin detects the presence of Yoast SEO via its database tables we offer the option to migrate that data over to Rank Math, even if Yoast has been deactivated a long time ago.

In regards to the Local SEO, if the website is for a local business you should definitely fill that information as that keeps your Local SEO and keeping the GMB profile up to date.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

  2. I am in love with mathrank, and i have business subscription with them, i am always wished that mathrank seo exists as app in shopify store, but today i have heard that yoast plugin is going to have app in shopify store, 🥲
